Public-Private Partnerships offer Federal, State, and Local Governmental Agencies the opportunity to introduce fresh and innovative approaches to the way we build and maintain transportation projects in the United States.  Generally, when implemented correctly, Public-Private Partnerships can save up to 40% of the project's cost and complete projects up to 50% quicker than more traditional delivery methods.

ARTBA's Public Private Ventures Division has been working with industry partners and public agencies for almost twenty years to provide guidance and leadership.  Working at the Federal level with Congress and the USDOT, we have helped forge policy, regulations, and laws that allow State and Local governments to utilize innovative financing and accelerate projects, thereby, benefiting the American Public.

Although we have come a long way in the last twenty years, there is still much more that we can do.  Public-Private Partnerships are not always the right solution for our transportation infrastructure needs, but in the right circumstances they will help public agencies meet their infrastructure needs. Working together with our industry partners, ARTBA's Public Private Ventures Division will continue to educate public on the use of Public-Private Partnerships and refine the process to assure that it best meets the needs of the American Public.
