ARTBA Call For Papers

Share Your Research!
Members of the ARTBA Research & Education Division (RED) are invited to submit short papers, studies and research summaries related to the association’s reauthorization efforts from their University, LTAP/TTAP Center or program.

Possible topics may include:

  • Freight issues on the local, regional and state level
  • Revenues for transportation
  • Uses of technology
  • Connectivity and modal issues
  • Other topics of interest to the transportation community

How Will Your Work Be Used?
The papers and research provided by RED members will be used by ARTBA in a variety of ways. The goal is to provide Congress, industry stakeholders and the public with information from the academic community about transportation issues related to the next reauthorization.

All papers will be considered for publication in ARTBA’s Transportation Builder Magazine and on the association’s webpage.  Authors will become part of ARTBA’s list of experts, and may be asked to testify before Congress on behalf of the association.  Some papers may also be presented at the ARTBA National Meeting October 21-24 in Chicago, Ill.

Details:
Papers are due October 1. The intended audience for the papers includes lawmakers, industry professionals and other ARTBA members. The paper must be submitted by an ARTBA member, but they do not have to be a co-author.

For more information, contact ARTBA’s Alison Premo Black at 202-289-4434 or ablack@artba.org.  Please let us know if you have a topic in mind.
