S.S. Steinberg Award

Purpose of the award: To recognize a person who has made an outstanding contribution to transportation education and to honor the memory of the founding president Professor S.S. Steinberg of the Education Division of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association.

Eligibility Criteria: An outstanding educator in the field of transportation (e.g., fields of civil engineering, economics, planning, construction, public policy, etc.), who has made a remarkable contribution to transportation education.

Character of the Award: Plaque and honorarium of $500

Frequency & Award Date: Annually, during ARTBA Midyear Convention
