Coalitions
Transportation Construction Coalition
The Transportation Construction Coalition (TCC) is a group of 27 national associations and labor unions with a direct market interest in the federal transportation programs. The TCC was initiated in July 1996 to focus on the federal budget and surface transportation program reauthorization debates. ARTBA and the Associated General Contractors of America co-chair the group. TCC members can be found in virtually every congressional district and provide a vital service to their communities by helping to improve the efficiency and safety of our nation's highway infrastructure.
Americans for Transportation Mobility
This U.S. Chamber of Commerce-led national coalition is working to ensure our nation's transportation infrastructure is improved to handle current and future demands. It represents transportation users and providers who are working together for a safer and more efficient transportation infrastructure system. ARTBA serves as ATM vice chair. The coalition is working to promote investment in infrastructure and fighting to streamline the burdensome approval process that significantly delays and even prevents critical transportation safety improvements.
Essential Worker Immigration Coalition
The Essential Worker Immigration Coalition (EWIC) is a coalition of trade associations, businesses, and other organizations from across the industry spectrum concerned with the shortage of both skilled and lesser skilled ("essential worker") labor. EWIC is ready to work with the Administration and Congress to push forward on important immigration reform issues.
