Nominate Your Firm’s “Rising Stars” for the Young Executive Development Program
ARTBA-TDF is accepting nominations for the 2010 Young Executive Development Program (YEDP) held May 24-27 in Washington, D.C.
Now in its 15th year, YEDP offers young executives an intensive three-day comprehensive education on the federal legislative and regulatory processes that affect the transportation design and construction industry. The program also includes sessions to help participants expand their leadership, management, business and advocacy skills.
Participants will be introduced to the role of trade associations in the policy making process and learn how leadership in associations like ARTBA can benefit their own company and career. YEDP fellows will lobby their congressional delegations on the highway transit authorization bill as part of the ARTBA “Federal Issues Program” and Transportation Construction Coalition Fly-In.
More than 350 young executives from 160 companies, public agencies and state contractor organizations in 40 states and Washington, D.C., have completed the program since its inception. Several past participants are now serving on the ARTBA Board of Directors and ARTBA-TDF Board of Trustees. Admission to the YEDP is a competitive process.
