Emerging Leader - Shannon Reilly
A graduate of the 1999 ARTBA Foundation’s Young Executive Development Program, Shannon Reilly, Esq., is the director of government affairs for Construction Industries of Massachusetts (CIM), ARTBA’s state chapter affiliate. Shannon has worked at CIM for 11 years, prior to which she was the Research Director for the Joint Committee on Transportation for the Massachusetts state legislature.
The experience of the YEDP continues to serve Shannon well as she continues to lobby elected officials at the state and federal levels of government for adequate and predictable transportation funding, and as she works on many other legislative and regulatory issues impacting the transportation development industry. She also interacts regularly with ARTBA in both seeking the association’s help and guidance on state and national issues. She also serves as a valuable resource by providing ARTBA with information of matters such as transportation funding, diesel retrofit requirements and contracting issues in Massachusetts.
Shannon holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a J.D. from New England School of Law.
