Wright was RIGHT

Visiting the HOME & STUDIO of Frank Lloyd Wright, the founder of the Prairie school of architecture, is like returning to Mecca for fans of America's greatest architect. Visionary, folk hero, architect of delight, Wright was a casting director's dream of what an architect should look and act like. His energy and vision dramatically influenced and changed contemporary architecture. The Home & Studio served as his private residence and workplace from 1889-1909—the first 20 years of his career. Your tour will leave from the Hyatt and head west to Oak Park, Illinois which contains the largest concentration of Wright's works in the world, including one of his favorites, Unity Temple. You will experience a docent led tour of the Home & Studio and walking (or riding depending on the weather) the area which will reveal the evolution of his creations from Victorian splendors to horizontal homes hugging the landscape.
