In recognition of the important role state legislators play in protecting and improving our nation’s transportation system, ARTBA is offering a complimentary registration to any member of NCSL or their staff to attend this year’s program. ARTBA's 20th Annual PPV Conference exists to educate both the public and private sectors on the topic of P3s and to share information on policy, experiences and emerging trends. Here are just a few reasons why you should attend the conference:
- Understand the policy surrounding Public-Private partnerships
- Hear PPP project experiences first hand
- Find out how you can best protect public interests
We hope that you will take this opportunity to enhance your understanding of public-private partnerships. To register please fill out the form found at the below link and fax it to the attention of Laura Spitz at 202-289-4435. You may also contact Laura Spitz at 202-289-4434.

In 2004, the United States spent $70.3 billion on road and highways. This fell short of the $78.8 billion needed to maintain the system and far below the $89.7 billion needed to improve the system (for more information on America's investment needs through 2015, click here).
Today, this trend continues creating growing problems with congestion, failing bridges, unsafe roads and the attendant negative impact on our nation’s economy and consumer prices.
Public-private partnerships (P3s) in transportation represent a significant opportunity to help states address their transportation infrastructure funding. While much is being debated in Washington, the future of public-private partnerships is being decided in state legislatures. A number of states, twenty-three to be exact, allow P3s to some level for transportation.
For twenty years, the American Road and Transportation Builders Association has held the premier conference on P3s. Our goal each year is to explore the facets of P3s and sharing best practices. P3s have the potential to offer tremendous value to states in getting key projects built harnessing the value by partnering with the private sector to speed delivery of transportation solutions, grow transportation programs off budget and unlock value in state transportation assets.
