Florida Transportation Builders’ Association Endorses Intertraffic North America Trade Show
Washington, D.C. [February 1, 2007]—Intertraffic North America (INA) 2007 has been endorsed by the Florida Transportation Builders’ Association (FTBA)—one of the nation’s largest state construction associations and a strong American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) affiliate. FTBA will work with ARTBA to bring major players in the Florida transportation infrastructure and traffic management markets to the trade show. INA—the continent’s most comprehensive conference and exposition to bring together suppliers and customers for the transportation infrastructure, traffic management, traffic safety and parking industries—will be held October 10-12, at the Greater Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Convention Center. The event is being organized by ARTBA and Amsterdam RAI. FTBA will promote the show with its members and encourage their attendance, and allow the association’s logo to be used in all Intertraffic marketing, web and promotional materials. In return, ARTBA will provide FTBA with free advertising in the event program, a link on the official Intertraffic website and credit on all show-related promotional materials. RAI’s “Intertraffic Amsterdam” is the world’s largest international trade fair in the design, management and maintenance of traffic and transport infrastructures, drawing 700 exhibitors and 25,000 attendees biannually from both private and public industry sectors. RAI also has conferences in Eurasia and China. Founded in 1933, the FTBA is a nonprofit organization of individuals and business firms actively engaged in the construction of transportation systems or in furnishing materials, equipment or services for such construction. ARTBA represents the public and private sectors of the U.S. transportation construction industry before Congress, the White House, federal regulatory agencies, news media and general public.
