Washington, D.C. [August 1, 2007]—Make your plans now to be in the Nation’s Capital November 1-2 for the American Road & Transportation Builders Association’s (ARTBA) annual Public Private Ventures (PPV) in Transportation Conference. Now in its 19th year, more than 400 people are expected for this premier public-private partnerships (P3) event. “The ARTBA Public-Private Ventures Conference is the best program to learn about P3 and network with those who are actively engaged in expanding America’s transportation system,” says the Texas Department of Transportation’s Phil Russell. The program will include sessions on the latest P3 trends, best practices and techniques, tolling, evaluating and pricing risk, and case studies of current projects in the U.S. and internationally. Members of Congress and officials from the U.S. Department of Transportation will also share their perspectives on transportation infrastructure financing. The conference is being held at the Hilton Washington. To learn more about the program and sponsorship opportunities, contact ARTBA Vice President Allan Freedman at afreedman@artba.org or 202-289-4434. Established in 1902, ARTBA represents the U.S. transportation construction industry before Congress, the Executive Branch, federal agencies, news media and general public. ###
