Washington, D.C. [Oct. 29, 2007]—Public-Private Partnerships (P3) in the financing of transportation projects have become a leading topic around the nation. Key industry and government leaders will share their perspectives on the issue at the 19th Annual American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) Conference on Public-Private Ventures in Transportation, held November 1-2 in Washington, D.C. Confirmed speakers are: U.S. Deputy Secretary of Transportation Vice Admiral Thomas J. Barrett, Former Colorado Governor Bill Owens, the Honorable John Mica, U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure, Robert Darbelnet, President & CEO of AAA, and more.
