Michael Sakata Named ARTBA
Washington, D.C. [Apr. 29, 2008]—The American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) today announced the promotion of Michael Sakata to director of information technology (IT). Sakata has a B.S. in decision sciences/management information systems from George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. He holds a Microsoft certified systems engineer (MCSE) designation for Windows 2003 and a Microsoft certified professional (MCP) designation in Windows 2000. Previously, he spent three years as a systems engineer for Trident Systems, Inc., a veteran-owned business headquartered in Virginia that provides hardware and software systems to military and commercial clients. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Sakata lives in Falls Church, Va., with his wife and twin daughters. ### Established in 1902, ARTBA represents the U.S. transportation design and construction industry in the Nation's Capital.
