OSHA Harwood Grant Training - Roadway Safety for Construction Workers
An award-winning program developed through labor-management-government cooperation, it offers interactive worker awareness training on 14 typical hazards found in roadway construction.

OSHA Harwood Grant Training Custom Safety Training for Roadway Construction
Developed in partnership with CNA Insurance, this is a four-hour training program which specializes in the four hazards that lead to the most claims according to industry insurance data: runovers/backovers, ergonomics, fleet safety and management commitment.

FHWA Work Zone Safety Training Program
This training provides free or low-cost training to the industry on work zone safety issues, evaluates available training programs and determines where new training is needed; and develops and conducts training in new areas to promote safety for both public and private sector employees.
DDOT Progressive Partners Program
This provides training services for the District of Columbia Department of Transportation to pre-selected trainees participating in the Department's On-the-Job (OJT) program. Through this program, coordinated with DDOT's OJT/Supportive Services program, ARTBA hosts training for minorities, women and otherwise disadvantaged individuals seeking employment or currently employed in the OJT training slots on highway construction-related jobs with DDOT highway construction contractors, and assist the trainees prepare for fulltime employment.
Turning Point: Work Zone Safety for New Drivers
This is an innovative ARTBA program that helps teenage drivers better understand the hazards of driving through road construction zones, it comes with a training video, interactive CD-based driving simulator, searchable CD-library, and other classroom instructional materials.
