U.S. DOT Chief Infrastructure Funding Officer, FHWA Executives and State Officials to Highlight Public-Private Partnerships in Transportation July 18-19 at Annual Conference
(WASHINGTON)—The Honorable Dan DeBono, chief infrastructure funding officer for the U.S. Department of Transportation will keynote the opening session of the American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) 31st Annual Public-Private Partnerships in Transportation Conference July 18-19 in the nation’s capital.
ARTBA President & CEO Dave Bauer and ARTBA P3 Division President Jennifer Aument of Transurban formally kick off the conference with welcoming remarks on Thursday, July 18, 8 a.m. A copy of the full agenda is here. Among the scheduled conference speakers:
- Federal Highway Administrator Nicole Nason to outline her agency’s current P3-related initiatives.
- State Sen. Chris Elliott (R-Ala.) and State Sen. Mathew Pitsch (R-Ark.) will give an inside view of how state lawmakers have passed recent P3 legislation.
- ARTBA Chairman Bob Alger of the Lane Construction Corp. will join experts from the P3 sector to share differing viewpoints on risk and how it may be driving the U.S. P3 market.
- Key state transportation leaders, including Shawn Wilson, Secretary, Louisiana DOTD, Pete Rahn, Secretary, Maryland Department of Transportation, Meg Pirkle, Chief Engineer, Georgia Department of Transportation and Nick Farber, Director, Colorado High Performance Transportation Enterprise on how their states are making P3 projects a reality.
