Prior Approval

Federal Election Commission regulations require trade associations to obtain permission from its member companies in order to receive information about or to be solicited for contributions to ARTBA’s Political Action Committee (ARTBA-PAC).

This authorization does not require any financial commitment. Instead, it gives us the permission to communicate freely with you and/or your employees about the activities of ARTBA-PAC.

A corporation may not authorize solicitations by more than one trade association in the same calendar year. A corporation may authorize permission for up to five years at a time.

ARTBA-PAC is a multi-candidate political action committee. Political contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for the purposes of federal income tax. Corporate and foreign national contributions cannot be accepted.
