About

For more than 25 years, our Industry Leader Development Program has provided rising leaders in the transportation construction and development sector with a solid understanding of industry economics; how transportation work in the U.S. is funded and financed; how actions by the federal government impact the industry; and how they—and their company or agency—can become politically engaged to help shape transportation policy. Nearly 800 professionals from over 200 industry firms, state contractor chapters and public agencies have completed the program.

The Industry Leader Development Council (ILDC) provides a forum for graduates to stay engaged. Members are charged with recruiting new association leaders; serving as mentors to industry rising stars; and helping with agendas and outreach for the regional meetings. Two ILDP graduates have been elected Chair of the Board and others serve in association leadership positions.
