The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Dec. 16 disbursed $2.89 billion in funding for capital improvement projects to over 3,000 airports across the nation. The investment is part of the $15 billion in direct airport resources included in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) that will be allocated over the next five years.

Airports can use the funding for runway, taxiway, and airport ground transportation access projects. See a list of airports receiving funding by city and state and an interactive map of the airports that received investments.
