Comments Outlining DOT Regulatory Reform Priorities

ARTBA on May 5, submitted comments to the U.S. Department of Transportation outlining key reforms to ensure federal regulations support efficient, timely transportation project delivery. The recommendations call for streamlined NEPA procedures, broader use of One Federal Decision, lessons from emergency rebuilds, balanced Buy America implementation, flexibility on cost adjustments, sensible PLA policies, and a halt to burdensome DBE data mandates. ARTBA also emphasized the importance of including industry voices in safety planning to better protect roadway workers.
