ARTBA submitted comments to the U.S. Department of Transportation highlighting key priorities from the association’s reauthorization report. These include increasing baseline investments in highways, transit, and multimodal programs; maximizing state flexibility through formula funds; modernizing project delivery regulations to cut delays and costs; and prioritizing roadway and work zone safety. ARTBA emphasized that DOT should support these priorities in partnership with Congress, which must enact the statutory changes needed to make them a reality.
